16mm Technology Exhibit

The newly renovated McCalla School , home to the new Collections Teaching, Research & Exhibition Center (CTREC), is currently presenting a 16mm exhibit curated from the Moving Image Archive’s Alan Lewis Collection.

The Lewis collection is comprised of a wealth of small gauge cameras, projectors, film editing and viewing equipment, including many of their original cases, boxes, instruction manuals, and accessories. The exhibit carefully curated dozens of these objects representing 16mm equipment innovations from the 1920s through the 1960s.

The exhibit is currently open to the public and will be on display through December, 2023.
